HOW DO POWERFUL DEMONS ATTACH TO US TODAY?

By NiteOwlDave

niteowldave@gmail.com

God has given us stern warnings in the Bible not to align with or worship Satan, angels, the dead, spirits, saints, deceased family members, friends, the blessed mother Mary, etc. We are to avoid witchcraft, paganism, Satanism, and all levels of evil in between.

If we do interact with demons for curiosity or power, we open ourselves up to oppression or possession. Demons are very real. Using the power of Lucifer (Satan), demons have the authority to confuse us or give us unusual power if they are given controlling power to direct our lives. Despite happy-ending promises, their end – and those who link to them – is eternal Hell.

Deuteronomy 18:10 says, “There shall not be found among you (any one) that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, (or) that useth divination or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”

Leviticus 19:31 says, “Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 says, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

In the past few decades, there has been an explosion of interest in communicating with the dead, and with other spirits.

We see examples of this in American television shows Beyond and Crossing Over. We also see worldwide deception of spiritual apparitions and alleged miracles credited to Mary, the earthly mother of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who are involved in these kinds of evil practices don't understand or are intentionally ignoring the great spiritual risks they are taking.

We are NOT to contact spirits for fun or power, or engage in other occult activities.

It is a given that we may order demons away from someone troubled by evil spirits by the power of the blood the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

HOW DEMONS ATTACH TO US

The door for demonic attachment is opened if we or someone in our family engages or has engaged in occult activities. And demons can be passed on to future generations.

Demons can attach if we use Ouija Boards, involve ourselves in role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, participate in séances, consult a psychic or a medium, engage in witchcraft or black magic, get involved with Reiki energy healing, astrology, and a host of other occult practices.

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS WE HAVE A DEMON

1. Compulsive sinning against our will: Addictions, uncontrollable anger, lust, urges to murder or commit suicide, etc.

2. Mental torment: Fear, depression, irrational heaviness in the soul, hearing voices in our mind, hearing audible voices that nobody else hears, compulsive thoughts, insanity, mental illness, obsessive irrational worry.

3. Emotional problems: Unable to get close to other people, sensing rejection for no reason, irrational emotional breakdowns, etc. Often more than just casting out demons is needed in this category. Inner healing must also take place as well as tearing down strongholds.

4. Occult powers or abilities: Anybody who can tell a fortune, lift an object through levitation, break a solid oak board with their hand, etc. using demonic powers needs deliverance. Martial arts are known for using demonic powers to break boards, etc. Unnatural strength is a sign of demonic power, such as the man in the Bible with the demon named Legion.

5. Unnatural desires and feelings: Sexual attraction towards animals, unnatural sexual desires, unusually strong attractions towards somebody who is married, past lovers, etc. can indicate soul ties and demonic bondage.

6. Experiencing the demonic: Most often (not always, but usually) when people are visited by demons, hearing them, seeing them, etc., they are in need of deliverance.

7. Ancestors have similar problems: If both we and one or more of our ancestors have the same kind of problem(s), then there may be a generational spirit at work.

8. Obsessions: Driving interests in the occult, demons, and creatures of the dark such as wolves, owls, etc. can indicate a demonic bondage. Obsession with death is almost a sure sign of demonic bondage.

9. Compulsive behavior: Compulsive behavior is a Biblical symptom of demonic bondage. Self-injury like cutting can be demonic.

INVOLVEMENT IN A CULT

The commonly held definition of a cult is that it is simply a belief system. But more correctly, a cult is a group led by a dictatorial leader who demands unquestioning adherence to his doctrines, which are generally taken from the scripture but out of context.

Involvement in cult churches or groups doesn't necessarily mean one is going to acquire demons.

However, because cults are distracted from the only real source of protection from demons, Jesus Christ of the Christian Bible, there is thin protection from demons. The only protection cult members have is that Satan and his demon followers can only do what God allows them to do.

There are limits placed on them, but we must not tempt God. Satanic/demonic problems will persist over generation if they are not properly recognized and dealt with now.

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW DEMONS TO HARASS US?

In most cases we are to blame for attracting demons, but God can and will use demons for our own good.

While it may seem frightening to those who are experiencing demonic troubles, there may be a silver lining for them. It is possible that in some cases, God has allowed them to occur as a wake-up call.

For those who are not saved, it may be one way

God will show them that they need Him. Likewise, a backslidden or lukewarm Christians may be getting a reminder from God to get back on track.

SATAN CAN APPEAR TO US AS ANGELS OF LIGHT

The Bible says Satan and demons can appear as "angels of light" to deceive us.

2 Corinthians 11:13-14 says, ”For such (are) false deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Deceptions like this occur so that the victims will become trusting and eventually dependent upon these spirits. As long as they are obsessed with these spiritual "experiences," they typically feel little or no need to be dependent upon God.

MANY ARE UNAWARE OF THE BIBLE’S WARNING ABOUT REINCARNATION AND SPIRIT CONTACT

Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

Reincarnation is a lie. The idea is likely demon play. The Bible says demons don't die like we do. They have been around for eons and fell when God booted them out of Heaven for worshiping Lucifer who is now Satan.

Demons know all about us because they have witnessed mankind over the centuries. In the end, it still comes down to the fact that no matter how real or authentic flashback experiences appear to us, they are still nothing more than lies served up by demons.

DEMONS TREMBLE AT THE TRUTH

James 2:19 says, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
If we are not saved, we should repent and turn to Christ now. Nothing is more important. Our total trust must be in Christ for paying our sin debt in full when He shed His blood on the cross and rose again from the dead.

STEPS TO GETTING FREE FROM DEMONS

1.Get saved.

2. Burn all cult or occult materials, including charms and gifts from dark-side sources like fortune tellers, witches, cults, and Satanists. That includes Ouija boards, Dungeons and Dragon games, Tarot cards, astrology books and materials, witchcraft literature, false holy books such as the Book of Mormon, the corrupt Bible used by the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Urantia book, etc.

Anything that can be used to reconnect us back with the cult or occult practices and experiences must go.

3. Get council from someone who has a deliverance ministry and is not in it for money. Make sure that EVERYTHING a deliverance person says or does is by the power of the blood of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

The computer and the DID brain BACK TO THE FUTURE

 By NiteOwlDave

This writer is not a schooled psychiatrist or a therapist. He is a self-taught online counsellor with 13 years’ experience of helping trauma and abuse survivors with DID alters get saved and healed through Christ.

The computer and the human brain have more in common than being mammoth storage bins.

A computer has a System Restore feature where one can roll back its memory to an earlier time and access the data that was held and displayed then.

Those who work with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) have a similar although opposite ability.

Through the alter personalities, we are able to access a survivor’s past in “real” time today. Alters bring forward vivid details of past trauma and abuse, usually from a time in their childhood.

Alters created by the host person hold painful memories away from the brain so he or she can survive severe mental damage that could prompt suicide or have a survivor institutionalized. The alters and the host are called a system.

When trust is established between a knowledgeable therapist or counsellor and a patient, details of what happened in a client’s past can be learned. With time, the alters can be healed and integrated back in to one, the host.

I suggest the process is much easier if the Lord Jesus Christ is asked to lead the therapist or counsellor during sessions. Christ will bring to the surface the alters who need the most immediate help.

If demons are attached to the alters, as often they are, Christ – and Christ alone – must lead the way.

If we draw upon any other source of power in the spiritual realm, we are asking for trouble. All other spiritual sources are of Satan. That’s a broad accusation, but it is true.

Accessing a survivor’s past requires switching, where an alter - and there are usually dozens or more – is called forward or “out.”

Much of what alters will share about the secrets they hold with a trusted outsider is seldom know by the host before healing and integration take place.

We will not address healing and integration here. Nor shall we look at the mental and spiritual fallout to children from Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) with its torture, evil rituals and programming.

It is understandable that a host is shocked to learn what he or she went through as a child. But it immediately helps the host to understand why he/she loses time and it accounts for memory loss from the switching of personalities.

System Restore in the memory of a survivor of severe trauma and hurt is like peeling an onion of buried hurt.

(Note: Alters and the host use the same vocal cords.)

Alters can prompt a smile, too. Not everything with DID is so serious. Following are tidbit items from I have gathered from alters who interact with their hosts –

·  * One alter advised me to be careful not to step on “land mines” when I go outside. The host had no clue what the young one was talking about. It turned out the alter, age five, was recounting what
she had been warned to avoid stepping on at her age. “Land mines” mean dog poop.

·  * A child alter wondered out loud if she was going to get many “prezzies” this year. The host cut in and exclaimed, “My word, I haven’t heard that word for 40 years. I remember that I asked my mother that once at Christmas.”

·  * I once had a hand in teaching a child alter how to work a straw. She got the hang of sucking up the chocolate milk the host bought for her but quickly discovered it was more fun to blow and make bubbles.

·  * Another flashback word used by a child alter once was “nifty.” Now there’s an old fashioned word.

·  * One time an alter asked me to show her some “films.” Today, films are called Cds or videos.

·  * Another alter asked the host to show her the cartoon All Dogs Go To Heaven. That movie was suddenly remembered by the host.

IS GOD MERCFUL AND FAIR ABOUT HELL?

By Harold Smith                                            inchrist@ns.sympatico.ca

A question often asked of those who share the gospel is: If God is merciful, how can He put people in Hell forever? Would He not be unjust in doing so?

The answer to that question is that God sends no one to Hell. We send ourselves to Hell if we fail to place our total trust in Christ alone for our eternal salvation.

Who can blame a judge for sending a criminal who knowingly breaks the law to prison? He really put himself there. The judge responds to written laws and assigns punishment to those who chose to break them. So does God.

Psalms 9:17 states, "The wicked shall be turned into hell." The word "turned" in Hebrew means "to turn oneself." It is in the active voice, which means they are performing the action themselves. "The wicked is driven away in (or by) his own wickedness," says Proverbs 14:32.

Isaiah 3:11 says, "Woe unto the wicked! It shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hand shall be given him," These verses make it clear that it is not God but wickedness that put a sinner in Hell.

God says in Ezekiel 33:11, "As I live, saith the Lord, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live." Ezekiel 18:23 says, "Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?”

God would be most unjust if sinners did not go to Hell. How much more would a Holy God, who hates sin, be unjust in not giving the just rewards to all spiritual criminals?

Despite what some suggest, God is not cold but provides a way to Heaven. He sent His Son to take our sins upon Himself and died for us. He offers forgiveness of sin to all who trust in Jesus.”

Have you trusted Him yet? Will you spend eternity with Him or in Hell? It is your choice that will determine whether Jesus Christ will be your Saviour or Judge. Make the right choice, and choose Him today.

Do good people make it to Heaven?

If I live a good, clean, respectable life will I not surely make it to Heaven? This is the common belief of humanity, but it is wrong.

Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the way of death."

It is unbiblical for two reasons to think that we can earn our way to Heaven.

First, it makes salvation something we merit or earn. It obligates God. He then owes it to us. Salvation is by grace, or unmerited favor, according to Ephesians 2: 8-9.

Second, when God looks at that kind of person He sees their past sins. Ecclesiastes 3:15 says, “God requireth that which is past."

God does not look at us, as we are presently, but He sees our life from the cradle to the grave.

Romans 5:6 says we are without the strength to save ourselves. Salvation cannot be by works; if so, then man could boast. Ephesians 2:9 points out, "Not by works lest any man should boast."

Quitting our sins is very good and will likely make us a better person in society, but it will not take away one past sin you have committed.

These sins must be taken away before you can be saved. 1John 1:7 says only the blood of Christ can cleanse you from sin.

People who live good lives, depending on that to save them, will never make it; but their judgment in eternity and the penalty will be less. Revelation 20:11 says, "Every man shall be judged according to their works."

Are you depending on yourself or Christ for salvation? He alone can save. This is why He is called "Savior" in Luke 2:11 and other places.
