PONTIFF IS ON STUPID PILLS
HE SWATS ASIDE ANOTHER BIBLE EDICT

The same Pope who said recently that Muslims and Christians worship the same God has come out with a new beauty.
On June 26, 2016, Pope Francis said with the giddy smile of a game-show host, “Christians owe apologies to gays and others who have been offended or exploited by the church, remarks that some Catholics hailed as a breakthrough in the church's tone toward homosexuality.”
We shouldn’t be surprised that the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) have trampled yet another teaching of the Bible.
Francis and his aw-shucks Vatican men in dresses have been doing it for decades, and apparently feel no shame about ripping pages out of God’s Holy Word, the Bible. And they do it despite saying they accept the Book as being inspired.
Do Christians owe the gays an apology? No, bro Francis; that’s hokum. YOU owe the God of the Bible some serious grovelling for over-ridding Scripture. Francis directive on the gay issue is directly opposite to what the Bible teaches.
Romans 1:27 says, "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly (improper); and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet."
What is the result? The next verse spells it out."God gave them over to a reprobate mind.” That is, a mind of good judgement went clunk.
God lowers the boom on homosexuality in the Old Testament, too.
Leviticus 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is an abomination." This verse alone would tell us what God's attitude is toward this sin. It ought to be so with His people and respectable people everywhere.
So serious was this sin in Israel that God ordered capital punishment to offenders. Leviticus 20:13 states "If a man also lie with mankind as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination; they shall surely be put be put to death: and their blood (guilt) shall be upon them."
Strong language isn't it? But that is the word of God. God knew that homosexuality would lead to the downfall of his people, as it did. The Old Testament's account of the destruction of the homosexual cities of Sodom and Gomorrah says it all.
Genesis 19:24-25 records, “Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land.”
Despite what we hear from the pro-pride crowd today, it is nuts to think we are born gay. If we are, how could God condemn it? That would be like saying being born blind is our fault.
I don’t think we can deny that some people may be born with a proclivity for gayness - a chromosome screw- up or something. They may have an inborn leaning toward the same sex.
Actually, we are all dealt a bad hand in some form such as gluttony or alcoholism, but God still holds us accountable.
I once met a born-again (Christian) guy who was about 40 years-old and single. He confessed to me that he was born with a huge attraction to men. But, he made it clear that he had never acted upon the impulse. Indeed, a strong man who will be rewarded by God for his refusal to sin.
With homosexuality, although a weakness toward it may be inborn, I think it is largely learned behavior, typically traced to some form of early abuse or poor parenting.
A teacher told me that over the years he’d run across countless parents who are way too protective of their little boys, resulting in a son who hangs out with girls, has the lead role in every school play, and watches the Fashion Channel religiously.
In other cases, the father is an ogre and the boy hides under his mommy's skirt. Or the parents raise a tom-boy who is immersed in activities that are primarily the domain of younger boys.
There is hope, healing, forgiveness and salvation for anyone caught in the grips of any sinful lifestyle. Jesus extends his love and forgiveness to anyone, the Bible says, if one would repent (turn from) their sin and call upon Jesus Christ as Lord.
